Round table meeting held with authorities on Banja HPP Emergency Response Plan
In the frame of the Banja HPP Emergency Response Plan, Statkraft held a coordination meeting with authorities to discuss and coordinate the Banja downstream Alarm Notification Plan. This plan aims to prevent and/or limit undesirable consequences, in case of emergency flooding situations.
The meeting was held near the Banja HPP premises and participants from 10 municipalities and three prefectures attended.
During the meeting were presented and discussed three possible main scenarios of high flow discharge from Banja HPP. Also, the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) of Banja HPP was presented with simulated GIS maps of the impacted areas.
Banja HPP reservoir has a total area of approx. 14 km2, with a total volume of approx. 400 million m3.
