Moglicë HPP tests continue
The start of 2020 marked the beginning of the testing phase for Moglicë Hydropower Plant, the largest HPP of the Devoll Hydropower Project, a Statkraft investment in Albania
After several years in development and implementation, during 2019 were completed the main works and started the creation of the Moglice reservoir.
The largest private hydropower plant in Albania during these months has undergone a series of tests to commission and prepare it for operations. These are carried out by specialised companies in coordination with the structures of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
In the frame of this phase, on 12.04.2020 was carried out the test of the Moglice Dam Spillway gates, which resulted successful. Full commercial operations for the Moglice HPP are planned for the second quarter of 2020, even with the additional difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
